There are also audio tapes of the service available for those who cannot
attend services. Just let us know where to mail the tapes.
The church has an active Prayer Shawl Ministry which is open to all
people who want to knit or crochet prayer shawls for those who are
going through a time of trial.
Liz LaRosa is our wonderful choir director and there is plenty of room
in the choir for anyone who likes to make music.
Our church participates in ecumenical services during Thanksgiving,
Christmas and Easter with other churches in our community.
We have an active involvement in the Mount Gilead Food Pantry
We are represented in the Montgomery County Churches in Action
and the Montgomery County Crisis Fund.

Mount Gilead, NC is located in Montgomery County at the southernmost tip
of the Piedmont Triad between the rolling Uwharrie Mountains to the west and
the sandy coastal plain on the east - at the geographic center of North
Carolina. It is approximately 1 hour south of Greensboro and 1 hour East of
Charlotte. Our church is located on Hwy 73 which goes directly through the
center of town. We welcome you and invite you to worship with us.
